John Norman Tuck is a very special person to me. He is very personable and quite a hair stylist and "artist"!
John and I moved to Sarasota around the same time - 2002. I was introduced to him by my daughter. She was going to him for her hair styling when I moved here. She then moved to Parrish and could no longer go to him because of work/time conflict. However, I followed him to whichever salon he was at when I needed my hair done. I have a standing "monthly" appointment with him. He is the first hair stylist I have stayed with for so long! Need I say more!
As far as his ability to paint fantastic pictures/portraits, he is great! He did a portrait of my dog from a photograph I gave to him. It is now hanging in my living room! I also have several other paintings I purchased from him for other rooms in my home.
I recommend him to everyone I know!
John Norman Tuck has become a friend as well as a great artist - both hair and canvas!!

Singing praises for my hair stylist John-Norman Tuck!
I met John-Norman almost 15 years ago at The Met in Sarasota. At that time I travelled periodically from my home in Atlanta to my condo on Lido Key in Sarasota. After my first haircut with John-Norman, I began planning my trips to Sarasota according to the time my hair needed cutting. We became fast friends and I have followed him to whatever salon he moved to ....not letting anyone else cut my hair. He's the best! Hardly a week goes by that someone doesn't ask me, "Who cuts your hair?" I'm always proud to say John-Norman Tuck!

Just a note to give an A+ for service and hair design to John-Norman Tuck, at "Green Ginger" Hair Design. John is an established professional, whose personal artistic flair definitely makes itself apparent in each individual hair style. The exemplary personal service he gives each client, is above and beyond expectations. I have very fine hair, that is difficult to do anything with. I have followed John -Norman through 4 different salons over the years, rather than change stylists! I live "out east" and it certainly would be easier to find someone closer than St. Armand's Circle, but the trip is well worth it. My color is always great, and he carefully considers my every whim! His ability to pay close attention to "YOU", during your time at the salon, is outstanding. I highly recommend giving him a try!
